Ukraine unveils Tryzub laser in final tests for drone defence

Developer Celebra Tech says the trailer-mounted system hits reconnaissance drones at 1,500m and FPV drones at 800-900m, with a planned 5km range against larger UAVs such as Shahed.
The laser uses AI guidance linked to radar to track targets automatically, aiming to cut reaction times and protect frontline positions, strategic sites and potentially private air-defence networks.
Ukraine first disclosed Tryzub in December 2024, showed it striking targets in April 2025, and says it could also be used for remote mine clearance.
