An Emerson College poll puts Markey ahead 37%-32%, with 29% undecided, down from Markey’s 47%-30% lead in an April Suffolk University/Boston Globe survey.
Among unenrolled voters, Moulton leads 38%-32%, while Markey leads women 37%-29%; men are essentially split. The May 3-4 poll surveyed 451 likely Democratic primary voters.
Markey, backed by Elizabeth Warren and Ayanna Pressley, has led by as much as 20 points before. The high-profile primary against the more centrist Moulton is scheduled for Sept. 1.
