The president visited the Sterling, Virginia event a week after attending the PGA Tour's Cadillac Championship at his Doral course in Florida, his second tournament appearance in two weeks.
Trump also renewed calls for LIV and PGA Tour players to compete together, saying fans want top golfers such as Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler in the same events.
His appearance came after LIV announced Saudi funding would end after this season, adding uncertainty around the league. LIV is also scheduled to hold another event at Trump's Bedminster course in August.
