Police said the suspect surrendered around 3:15 p.m. on Tyler Court; two officers were shot in the arm and a third suffered a hand wound.
All three officers were taken to Upstate University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and two had been released by Saturday afternoon. The suspect also received medical attention.
The standoff began after reports of a man menacing people and attacking a dog with a machete. Authorities said hundreds of officers responded, neighbors were evacuated, and attempted murder charges are being considered.
