On Friday's Today Citi Concert Series opener at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, Jones danced onstage as Larsson performed “Midnight Sun,” “Stateside” and “Lush Life.”
Larsson said Jones could join her dancers on tour, while Today co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Dylan Dreyer praised the energetic performance and viewers flooded Instagram comments with support.
Larsson said performing on the Plaza fulfilled a childhood dream, and fans also noted the joyful moment for Jones, whose husband Uche Ojeh died in 2025 after brain cancer.
