The National Park Service said six public and private partners will start immediate work at East Potomac, Langston and Rock Creek, with Interior Secretary Doug Burgum overseeing the project.
Plans include a championship-level 18-hole East Potomac course, infrastructure upgrades, a caddie academy and a First Tee training school, while National Links Trust continues operating all three sites.
The agreement follows the administration's bid to end NLT's lease and comes amid lawsuits over access, environmental concerns and alleged dumping of East Wing demolition debris at East Potomac.
