Artemis 2 astronauts capture moon far side photos for Andrew McCarthy

NASA released more than 12,000 images after the mission’s April 10 splashdown, including shots commander Reid Wiseman took during the crew’s 10-day lunar flyby.
McCarthy said stacking 10 to 15 of about 50 exposures produced unusually clean, high-fidelity colour data revealing mineral differences across the far side.
He worked with Wiseman and NASA’s lunar photography team before the April 1 launch, and says more processed close-up images from the mission are still to come.
