An Iranian official said the supreme leader hurt his kneecap, back and behind one ear in the 28 February Israeli-US strikes, and that his wife was also killed.
Mazaher Hosseini, identified as coordinator of top-level government meetings, said Khamenei is in good health, his back problem has resolved and his knee should heal soon.
Khamenei has not appeared publicly since the attacks, fuelling speculation about his role, while officials say he is keeping a low profile for safety and will address Iranians later.
