Thieneman said he is learning multiple safety roles in Dennis Allen's scheme, Jones described an Iowa-like emphasis on detail, and Roush said Ben Johnson's run-first offense suits his blocking strengths.
Jones also highlighted competition on a veteran-heavy line and wearing No. 54, while Roush said he aims to absorb coaching before learning from tight ends Cole Kmet and Colston Loveland.
