The advertised plot is one of 12 on a four-acre field at Willows Green near Felsted, Essex, where Uttlesford District Council ordered work to stop on Wednesday.
Residents said about 30 lorries delivered materials overnight, while Facebook posts from March sought around 20 trucks to move 120 to 150 loads from Dagenham.
The council previously refused permission for a log cabin there, and traveller campaigner Sherrie Smith said construction had stopped and the land would be restored if retrospective consent failed.
