Google reopens Android Auto beta program to expand early feature testing

The programme had been closed for more than a year, and some newly admitted users said the latest beta immediately brought Gemini and a redesigned media player.
Google says beta access helps test improvements and diagnose bugs before wider release, though the features are also rolling out on some production devices outside the programme.
