In New York, they urged US District Judge Lewis J Liman to block further proceedings over legal fees and compensatory damages after the pair’s undisclosed settlement, with no money changing hands.
Baldoni’s team said Lively settled without him or Wayfarer paying any of the $300 million she sought and argued the year-and-a-half dispute should end with existing rulings.
Liman previously dismissed Baldoni’s $400 million countersuit and most of Lively’s claims, though breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting retaliation claims had been left for trial.
