In a Friday statement, the ministry said no positive case has yet been identified nationwide despite recent social media claims of possible infections.
It said the situation is being monitored closely under scientific procedures and public health protocols, and urged people to trust only official statements.
The ministry said screening, prevention, monitoring and control work continues across the country. Hantavirus is mainly spread through infected rodents and can cause fever, fatigue and severe respiratory illness.
