Google said the rollout began this week and may take up to 15 days for eligible Workspace and Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers.
The tool can pull information from Google Drive into drafts and mimic a user's previous email tone to reduce switching between apps and make messages sound less robotic.
Separately, Gmail is preparing AI Inbox for mobile; the beta feature summarises emails and is currently limited to US subscribers of Google's $250-a-month AI Ultra plan.
