Coach Mike Brown said Anunoby will sit out Friday in Philadelphia after hurting his right leg late in New York's 108-102 Game 2 win over the 76ers.
The forward is considered day-to-day, while Josh Hart and Mitchell Robinson are available for the Eastern Conference semi-final game after thumb and illness issues respectively.
Anunoby had 24 points before exiting Game 2 and has been a major playoff contributor, leaving the Knicks to replace one of their top two-way players as the series shifts to Philadelphia.
