Shares closed at $181.82 as the S&P 500 rose 0.84% to 7,398.93 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.02% to 49,609.16.
Salesforce lagged Microsoft, which fell 1.34%, while Alphabet's Class C and Class A shares gained 0.44% and 0.71%, respectively, in Friday trading.
The stock finished 38.58% below its 52-week high of $296.05 reached on 14 May, while trading volume of 12.3 million was 1.2 million below its 50-day average.
