The broader market also advanced, with the S&P 500 up 0.84% to 7,398.93 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average edging 0.02% higher to 49,609.16.
Cencora still finished 30.85% below its 52-week high of $377.54 set on 25 November, while rivals Amazon, UnitedHealth and CVS Health also posted gains.
