Shares closed at $207.45 on Friday as the S&P 500 rose 0.84% to 7,398.93 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.02% to 49,609.16.

Steris lagged Thermo Fisher, Danaher and Becton Dickinson, which also fell but by smaller margins, while trading volume of 804,411 topped its 50-day average of 763,178.
