The change takes effect on 30 June, while Campbell becomes principal accounting officer immediately and CEO John Dillon succeeds Steven DeMartino as president.
William DeFrances, the previous principal accounting officer, will retire later this year, extending the management reshuffle beyond the finance chief transition.
Campbell has served as TransAct's controller since June 2022 and takes over after DeMartino's retirement created the CFO vacancy.
