Shares closed at $274.96 on Friday, extending gains to a fifth straight session as trading volume reached 3.0 million, well above the 50-day average of 1.7 million.
Humana outpaced UnitedHealth, up 2.77%, and Elevance, up 1.38%, while Chubb slipped 0.51% during a broader market rise that lifted the S&P 500 0.84% and the Dow 0.02%.
Despite the rally, the stock remains 12.81% below its 52-week high of $315.35 reached on 5 September.
