In Bermuda, the week’s second edition features the Bermuda Tourism Authority, BDA and BEDC, while entrepreneur Tia Crockwell cited a $25,000 2023 grant that helped expand OnSight Optometry.
BEDC said the initiative aims to show how agencies complement rather than duplicate each other, linking small-business support, foreign investment, tourism, transport and workforce development within the island’s economic strategy.
BDA also backed a Build Conference panel on hotel and large-scale development, where industry figures discussed construction costs, labour needs, logistics, capital access and closer collaboration.
