The Kansas freshman said post-season bloodwork found unsafe creatine levels after dosing, explaining the condition that sent him by ambulance to hospital after September boot camp.
Peterson missed 11 games, needed repeated IVs, electrolyte supplements and rehab, and said fear of another full-body cramp disrupted his rhythm and drew criticism during the season.
Now training in Los Angeles for the NBA combine and draft, the projected No. 2 prospect says he has had no further issues since stopping the supplement.
