Measles case visited Manhattan restaurant, potentially exposing others

The unvaccinated person was at Norma Gastronomia Siciliana in Hell’s Kitchen from 5pm to 8pm on 25 April, bringing New York City’s 2026 total to five cases.
City health officials said they are tracing and notifying possible contacts, while the restaurant told guests present then they may have been exposed but there is no ongoing risk.
Officials said the public risk remains low because of high vaccination coverage, no secondary cases have been reported, and all city cases this year have been linked to international travel.
