The move was confirmed hours before The Trade Desk reported first-quarter revenue of $689m and forecast at least $750m for Q2; Jacobson will keep her board seat.
Her departure follows several recent senior exits, including the CMO, as the ad-tech company says it is undergoing a "changing of the guard".
The company highlighted growth in connected TV, retail media and brand deals, while CEO Jeff Green said tensions with agency groups were overstated and blamed softer guidance on macroeconomic conditions.
