Amtech Systems stock jumps after reporting higher Q2 revenue

Shares rose 13% to $20.55 in off-hours trading after fiscal second-quarter net revenue increased 31% year on year to $20.5 million.
The company said strong demand for reflow equipment used in AI applications helped it swing to a $1.2 million profit, from a $31.8 million loss a year earlier.
Adjusted earnings were 10 cents a share, and Amtech forecast fiscal third-quarter revenue of $20.5 million to $22.5 million. The stock had already gained 45% this year through Thursday's close.
