At his New York AI startup Series, the 22-year-old founder said DoorDash spending topped $13,500 a month before a chef was hired for a high-five-figure salary.
The chef now prepares three daily meals for a nine-person team, which Johnson says saves about two hours a day and has improved nutrition and reduced brain fog.
Johnson said the company also cut roles including chief of staff to keep only essential specialists, and he believes even chefs could eventually be replaced by AI.
