Bharti Airtel shares rise 0.46% and outperform market

The stock closed at 1,834.90 rupees on Friday as the BSE Sensex fell 0.66% to 77,328.19 in a broadly weak session.
Bharti Airtel also outperformed Vodafone Idea, whose shares rose 0.09%, while trading volume was 153,915, well below the 50-day average of 590,150.
Despite the gain, Bharti Airtel ended 15.63% below its 52-week high of 2,174.70 rupees reached on 21 November.
