The shares closed at $194.78 as the S&P 500 fell 0.38% to 7,337.11 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.63% to 49,596.97.
Digital Realty underperformed peers including Prologis, Alexandria Real Estate Equities and BXP, which posted smaller declines of 0.43%, 0.55% and 0.64%, respectively.
The stock finished 6.42% below its 52-week high of $208.14 reached on 24 April, while trading volume of 2.4 million topped its 50-day average of 2.1 million.
