Dietitians Alexander LeRitz and Lisa Moskovitz say caffeine can act as a temporary Band-Aid, with effects wearing off and leaving people feeling more tired than before.
They advise reviewing sleep, diet, hydration, stress and exercise rather than relying on coffee, and warn that more than 400mg daily or late-day intake can worsen sleep and brain fog.
