The Japanese sensor maker posted net profit of Y1.33 billion for the quarter ended 31 March, versus Y1.08 billion a year earlier, with earnings per share rising to Y63.09 from Y49.31.
Revenue slipped slightly to Y6.57 billion from Y6.64 billion, but operating profit increased to Y1.60 billion from Y1.51 billion and pretax profit rose to Y1.84 billion from Y1.47 billion.
