Chief people officer Laura Butler said the Q2 2026 pause affects about 16,000 US employees and will be reviewed early next year.
The Austin-based customer-experience firm said the move frees funds for AI certifications, AI-enabled tools, automation, training and broader business transformation, while keeping the retirement plan itself in place.
TTEC, whose revenue fell 3.2% to $2.1bn and shares have dropped sharply since 2021, joins employers such as Deloitte and Zoom in trimming benefits amid economic uncertainty.
