Shima Seiki Mfg reports full-year net profit

For the year ended 31 March, the Japanese company posted net profit of Y856 million, versus a Y14.28 billion loss a year earlier.
Revenue rose to Y33.51 billion from Y32.52 billion, while operating loss narrowed sharply to Y1.72 billion from Y11.91 billion.
Pretax profit was Y288 million against a Y11.48 billion loss previously, and earnings per share improved to Y25.23 from a loss of Y413.58.
