Sawafuji Electric reports FY2026 net profit plunge

The Japanese company posted net profit of Y33m for the year ended 31 March, versus Y247m a year earlier, while earnings per share fell to Y7.78 from Y57.43.
Revenue rose to Y25.01bn from Y23.60bn, and operating profit increased to Y312m from Y76m. Pretax profit also climbed to Y525m from Y214m.
The results, prepared under Japanese accounting standards, show sharply weaker bottom-line earnings despite higher sales and improved operating and pretax performance.
