For the quarter ended 31 March in Japan, net profit was Y726 million versus Y732 million, while revenue rose to Y10.13 billion from Y9.71 billion.
Operating profit was unchanged at Y1.13 billion, pretax profit held at Y1.14 billion, and earnings per share edged down to Y63.41 from Y64.08.
The group said the results were prepared under Japanese accounting standards, indicating slightly weaker bottom-line performance despite higher sales in the latest quarter.
