Laox reports narrower first-quarter net loss

For the quarter ended 31 March 2026, the Japanese retailer posted a Y791.00m net loss, improving from Y1.23bn a year earlier.
Revenue fell to Y10.60bn from Y11.48bn, while operating loss narrowed to Y855.00m from Y1.05bn and pretax loss improved to Y796.00m from Y1.18bn.
Per-share loss improved to Y8.66 from Y13.48, with results prepared under Japanese accounting standards.
