Statistics Netherlands said 13% of 18-64s granted residence in 2024 had jobs within three months, up from 1% for the 2014 cohort.
More than half finding work within six months were in hospitality or temporary agency jobs, while about half of those employed within three months had zero-hours contracts.
The report linked gains partly to tighter labour markets and the end of the 24-week work rule in 2023; after seven years, 52% of the 2014 cohort were employed.
