Overview
In May 2026, the MTN Foundation launched the sixth phase of its What Can We Do Together (WCWDT) initiative, opening public nominations for revitalizing 40 Primary Healthcare Centres and upgrading 15 science laboratories in Nigeria. Nigerians can nominate communities via SMS or online, with a rigorous vetting process selecting beneficiaries. Supported by ₦4 billion funding and strategic partnerships, including with the Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria, the program integrates sustainable solutions like solar-powered utilities and teacher training. Implementation runs from June to December 2026, aiming to improve healthcare access, enhance STEM education, create jobs, and foster digital inclusion, building on a legacy of impactful community-driven development.
