Stellantis and Leapmotor start joint EV production in Europe

At Stellantis's Zaragoza plant in Spain, they will add Leapmotor's B10 SUV and a jointly developed Opel electric C-SUV.
The move expands their partnership from sales into manufacturing, helping fill underused European capacity, speed Leapmotor's regional production and avoid EU tariffs on Chinese-made EVs.
The companies are also considering assigning new Leapmotor models to Stellantis's Madrid plant from 2028 and possibly transferring the site to their Leapmotor International joint venture.
