The stock closed at $2.47 on Friday, marking a second straight loss as the S&P 500 rose 0.84% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up 0.02%.
Coty lagged peers including Estee Lauder, up 1.07%, and Interparfums, up 0.61%, while trading volume of 5.9 million was 2.4 million below its 50-day average.
After Thursday's 5.66% drop to $2.50, the shares remain 53.75% below their 52-week high of $5.34 reached on 16 June.
