Shares fell to $3.51 on Friday as the Nasdaq rose 1.71% and the Dow added 0.02%, extending losses to a second straight session.
Workhorse lagged rivals including Tesla, up 4.02%, and General Motors, up 0.50%. Trading volume was 155,142, below its 50-day average of 169,410.
The stock closed 94.79% below its 52-week high of $67.32, after dropping 10.81% on Thursday when volume had topped its 50-day average.
