For the quarter ended 31 March, parent net profit rose to Y325 million from Y75 million, while revenue increased to Y3.39 billion from Y3.31 billion.
Operating profit climbed to Y464 million from Y130 million and pretax profit to Y481 million from Y166 million, with earnings per share rising to Y14.18 from Y3.29.
The company, reporting under Japanese accounting standards, forecast a year-end dividend of Y28 and annual dividend of Y50, up from Y26 and Y46 a year earlier.
