On the Beyond the Clubhouse podcast, the 4Aces player said after six weeks on LIV that players enjoy the format and should show unity as Saudi PIF funding ends after 2026.
Detry said LIV is an “amazing product”, rejected claims players want to return to the PGA Tour, and said he had closed social media accounts because of rapidly spreading “lies”.
LIV is seeking new investors as its future comes under pressure, though players including Bryson DeChambeau and Thomas Pieters have also voiced support while events continue, including this week in Virginia.
