Instructure told the Georgia district that names and internal messages of students and staff may have been accessed in a nationwide cybersecurity incident.
Canvas remains operational, and the vendor said passwords, Social Security numbers and financial information were not compromised.
The district has not said how many Fulton County families were affected and is awaiting more details before notifying those impacted and posting updates online.
