Judge rejects Google request to pause search data sharing order

US District Judge Amit Mehta ruled on Thursday that Alphabet had not shown immediate harm because any sharing of underlying search data with rivals remains months away.
The order is part of the Justice Department's proposed remedies after a court found Google had illegally monopolised the online search market.
Google is appealing that monopoly ruling, but Mehta's decision means the company cannot yet delay preparations for the data-access remedy sought by US antitrust enforcers.
