From March 2025 to March 2026, the state added 28,700 jobs, a 1.8% increase, with growth running at double the pace of the second-fastest state.
The Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation said gains spanned manufacturing, business services, education, health care, trade and transportation, with Nevada ranking first in several industry categories.
Governor Joe Lombardo credited pro-business policies and lighter regulation, though Nevada's unemployment rate remained among the nation's highest at 5.3% in February.
