MEMA said 14 tornadoes touched down Wednesday, with the worst damage in Lamar and Lincoln counties, where more than 475 homes were hit and 16 injuries were reported.
No deaths were recorded, but 15,643 power outages, road closures, debris and school shutdowns were reported as damage assessments continued and Lincoln County received Cajun Navy relief supplies.
