The UCLA Panhellenic Association deployed guards on Hilgard Avenue after students said three recurring homeless men made lewd comments and left residents feeling unsafe.
Students said a recent meeting with campus police was unhelpful and that officers were rarely seen near sorority houses, where homeless people sometimes sleep on lawns.
