News Corp revenue rises 9% in fiscal third quarter

Revenue reached nearly $2.2 billion in the quarter ended 31 March, while segment EBITDA rose 18% to $343 million and net income from continuing operations increased 13% to $121 million.
Adjusted earnings were 21 cents a share, above FactSet analysts' 19-cent estimate, as Dow Jones revenue rose 8%, HarperCollins 8% and digital real-estate services 17%.
The Wall Street Journal's digital-only subscriptions grew to 4.33 million, and chief executive Robert Thomson said News Corp remains on track for record profitability while pursuing AI licensing deals and action against illegal scraping.
