Reservations start at 10 a.m. PT, limited to one per customer, with buyers given 72 hours to complete orders when stock returns.
Valve said only accounts in good standing that made a Steam purchase before 27 April qualify, and first-wave buyers cannot reserve another controller.
The move follows a 4 May sell-out within minutes after payment errors at checkout; fulfilment begins next week in the US and Canada, with other regions later.
