At SID Display Week, it showed a 2.24-inch 1,700 PPI OLED panel and a 0.28-inch 5,131 PPI micro-LED display.
The OLED screen delivers 2,600 x 2,784 resolution, 7.2MP and 120Hz, while TCL says its real RGB glass-based design sets a pixel-density benchmark for VR and mixed-reality headsets.
The micro-LED panel offers 1,280 x 720 resolution and could suit bright smartglasses, but commercial impact will depend on cost, reliability and other manufacturing factors.
